Hello and welcome to The Lost Weekend

Let me introduce myself — my name is Terri Wilson, and for 30 years I've run an interior design practice in Sydney. Most of my career has been spent working across retail, hospitality and residential interiors.

I've always loved colour and texture, and how they can transform any space. On my travels, I've enjoyed photographing the beauty and colour of the Australian landscape, and looking back over years of photos, what struck me each time was just how amazing those colours were. I've always said: if you want a colour palette, look at nature.

It got me thinking — I love colour, I love textiles, I love travel, I love the design process, and I love creating. I wanted a product that was accessible, practical and fun. So The Lost Weekend was born.

Every single design starts with one of my own photographs, reimagined into something you can actually use and enjoy every day. My hope was to create a homewares brand that feels accessible to any home — pieces that are unique and practical, but also bring a bit of art, colour and fun into the everyday. Our first collection is all about the kitchen: tea towels, aprons and oven mitts.

The Lost Weekend has been two years in the making, and along the way I've dragged friends and family into helping. David Smyth, a great friend, has done all the photography, and my niece is looking after social media. It's been fun, frustrating and challenging to get this far — but I'm excited to launch our first collection, and we're already working on the next, which will expand the homewares line.

Looking forward to having you on the journey.

The Lost Weekend — everyday homewares to use, gift and share. We hope they bring a little lost weekend moment into your everyday life.

Kind regards,
Terri Wilson
